Application guides
This site helps you research study programmes and research or doctoral opportunities. Applications must be submitted by you through the official university or employer channel.
Choose the language of instruction first, then check admission language evidence, extra language needs for placements or clinics, tuition terms, and the current application round. A CSCSE lookup is a reference, not a personal recognition guarantee. Research jobs use working language and doctoral enrollment filters, not teaching-language filters.
Step 1: choose the language of instruction
Study programmes are split by language of instruction first: English and Czech sit side by side at that first level, and no university, degree or ranking replaces it. The interface language only changes the page text; it never turns your programme preference into Czech or English. Once a language of instruction is selected, the list shows programmes taught in it. Tick “include programmes requiring both languages” only when you also want programmes that require English and Czech.
Choose a language of instruction first. No language-limited search runs while this is unset.
Rounds and deadlines
A programme detail page lists every verified application round on a timeline and highlights the round that currently applies. An unpublished start date does not mean applications are open, and rolling applications are labelled as such. “Open only if vacancies remain” means a supplementary round depends on remaining places and is not marked open before that is confirmed; when a whole opportunity is closed, none of its rounds accept applications. Sort by deadline to see what expires soonest, and confirm the range with the “applications open” status.
A supplementary round opens only if vacancies remain. It is not marked open before that is confirmed.
How tuition is stated
The tuition field states the billing cycle (year / semester / whole programme) and the currency, taken from the official page or the Ministry of Education register. “Tuition not published” is neither free nor 0, and it is never filtered as 0. An application fee is a separate charge and is not merged with tuition into one figure. For register records, tuition appears only where a university source proves it; otherwise it stays unknown.

English-taught programmes can still require Czech
The detail page separates admission language evidence from additional required languages. Czech may also be required for clinical work, placements or practical training, and each entry is marked required, optional or not published; where evidence is missing, the site does not conclude that nothing is required. A research post’s working language is a separate measure and is never filtered by language of instruction.
Check each programme’s English requirements. Some programmes may also require Czech for placements, clinical work, or activities.
Research and doctoral posts: threshold, enrollment and pay
The job list shows every published position by default, postdoctoral posts included, and the research entry does not require a teaching-language choice first. The type of post, the education threshold and compensation are three separate facts in a vacancy, and none of them stands in for another.
Job track
The post type is what the vacancy title describes; the degree threshold is the qualification the announcement states. They are independent. Postdoctoral posts are listed under “Postdoctoral” or “All public jobs”.
Degree threshold
The education the announcement requires. When it states none, we do not infer a master's threshold.
“Master eligible” is the degree threshold only. It does not mean every skill or document requirement is met.
Doctoral enrollment requirement
- Doctoral enrollment required
- Doctoral enrollment optional
- Doctoral enrollment not required
- Not specified in the vacancy
Salary
- Paid status confirmed
- Compensation not stated in the vacancy
- Vacancy states no compensation
Shows only vacancies whose announcement states pay or remuneration. The rest stay listed, labelled as not stating compensation.

Ownership and the CSCSE reference
Institution tags show ownership and the CSCSE reference side by side. Both are references only: neither guarantees personal recognition, and neither “public” nor any ranking replaces the lookup result.
Institution ownership
- Public
- Private
- State
- Research institute
CSCSE recognition reference
- Confirmed in an official CSCSE lookup
- Czech accredited (not found in an official CSCSE lookup)
Not listed does not mean unrecognised; the institution is officially accredited in the Czech Republic.
This label is a lookup reference. Individual credential recognition is decided by CSCSE after review.
Timeliness and the limits of this site
Every record states its source class, collection date and fact-review date, and the default sort puts verified, open opportunities first. This site has no accounts, no saved items and no comparison; it does not submit applications for you and does not predict admission odds.
Opening the official site does not mean an application was submitted here.
The latest closure overlay could not be refreshed; the last verified status is still shown. Check the official notice as well.
This site does not invent admission odds or user reviews. Unknown tuition is not free. Closed vacancies are removed from public lists.
